The annual Food Truck Throwdown is making its way to Peoria.
Sponsored by Get Local Arizona Events, formerly known as Momma’s Organics, the event goes from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N 83rd Ave.
This Throwdown features gourmet food trucks from around the Valley all competing to be awarded “best street food truck” by those who attend.
The event will offer free entry to individuals in the military or veterans who present their ID at the gate. In addition, all entry fees will be donated to multiple charities who help feed hungry children with the help of the Peoria Diamond Club.
The full list of food trucks will be announced soon.
