The annual Illuminate Film Festival will return with a gathering in Sedona in November.
While the festival takes place from Saturday, Nov. 5 through Sunday, Nov. 13 both in-person and virtually, an in-person celebration in Sedona will be part of the celebration.
In addition to one week of live daily virtual programs online Nov. 6-13, three in-person days in Sedona — Nov. 4-6 — will include conscious films, workshops, and a chance to connect in person through plenty of social and community events. The full day, Nov. 5, will feature red carpet film premieres, filmmaker Q&As, speakers and workshops, priority entrance at Sedona Performing Arts Center Theater, a VIP reception, a VIP gala party, and a swag bag.
The festival, founded in Sedona in 2014, has made a permanent move to a hybrid format because the audience now spans 84 countries. Illuminate offers both virtual and in-theater options to accommodate all festival-goers.
The weeklong online component will feature live global virtual screenings of eight films, also accompanied by filmmaker Q&As, luminary panels, and online workshops. The screenings can be viewed online at illuminate.watch or on Apple TV or Roku through the Eventive app.
The films and conversations will be recorded and available on-demand through Sunday, Nov. 13.
For eight years, Illuminate’s mission has been to discover and exhibit cinematic gems that elevate consciousness and inspire personal, community, and planetary transformation.
