The MIM Music Theater announced its Winter/Spring 2024 Concert Series lineup.
The series, which runs January through May, includes more than 50 concerts from multiple genres and features artists from around the world. The Musical Instrument Museum is located at 4725 E. Mayo Blvd., in Phoenix.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7.
This season’s highlights include Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Marc Cohn; country music couple Rosanne Cash and John Leventhal, who are celebrating the release of the 30th-anniversary edition of Cash’s “The Wheel”; a night of storytelling and song from Broadway performer Lucie Arnaz; and multiplatinum singer-songwriter Joan Osborne.
The Winter/Spring 2024 Concert Series also features several debut performances at the MIM Music Theater. Among the newcomers are country music hitmaker Pam Tillis, British blues guitarist Matt Schofield, and Tibetan singer Yungchen Lhamo. The series also includes a program featuring renowned violinist Rachel Barton Pine and award-winning harpsichordist Jory Vinikour. Pop-rock enthusiasts can look forward to an appearance by Vonda Shepard, who’s best known for her work on the television series “Ally McBeal.”
“From staples of jazz Emmet Cohen, Hiromi, and Brad Mehldau to renowned tribute shows Classic Albums Live: Supertramp’s ‘Breakfast in America’ and Direct from Sweden: The Music of Abba, from global artists Yungchen Lhamo and Altan to pop and rock icons John Oates and the BoDeans,” Andrew Walesch, MIM Music Theater artistic director, shared in a press release.
