A Peoria home has sold for $5.2 million, and it is being touted at the most expensive home in the city.

RE/MAX Fine Properties managing partner Jamie Wong announced the selling of the residential property, located at 8035 W. Expedition Way. This is the third record-selling home for Wong, and also the largest home sold in Peoria, according to a news release.

“It’s been an honor to represent the seller, John Gaston, of such a magical property,” says Wong, who sells more than $100 million in real estate annually. “This home is unsurpassed in quality, truly one-of-a-kind and offers the finest features of luxury living in Arizona.”

The nearly 14,000-square-foot rare homesite sits on 2.18 acres, includes resort-like features and is gated within the community of Casa De Sunrise.

The corner property offers an inviting welcome to the artful main entrance with a glass-arched iron door. Upon entering, the experience continues with panoramic views allowing you to admire the exterior lawn and entertainment space, floor-to-ceiling limestone gas fireplace, hard floor surfaces with decor/custom insets and design. The entertainer's kitchen speaks to any culinary lover with its commercial-grade appliances, multiple dishwashers, full-size freezer and refrigerator, butler/ entertainment space that opens to the dining area, complete with roll-out drawers, and glass accent cabinets with designer touches including built-in lights. There are five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

The detached guest house features a full kitchen, full-size appliances, a breakfast nook, a living room and an elaborate bedroom that opens to a private patio. There are three exterior fireplaces, commercial heaters, and misters in all exterior spaces. The resort-size heated diving pool has water features, a color wheel, slide and a diving board. There is also an exterior bar, heated spa, mature trees, three separate covered entertainment spaces, golf putting greens, sport court and so much more. The RV garage can park up to six cars along with eight other spaced/cooled garages with epoxy floors and custom cabinets.

“RE/MAX Fine Properties is prominent in our local luxury market – and we’re equipped to handle every listing with expertise and unparalleled service,” Wong said. “We’re grateful for the homebuyers and sellers who allow us to play a key role in their important, life-changing transactions.”
