Valley Metro counting down to NW Phoenix light rail extension

Valley Metro is gearing up for changes to bus and light rail service to coincide with the opening of the Northwest Extension Phase II this week.
Light rail will be extended 1.6 miles with three new stations beyond Dunlap/19th Avenue. Bus routes that currently serve the Metrocenter Transit Center will move to the new Thelda Williams Transit Center.
Additional service changes will occur on Jan. 22 and 29.
Now in effect:
Route 186 — Union Hills Drive/Mayo Blvd: Route remains on Mayo Blvd. and no longer serves the Mayo Clinic
